Old Brother John’s Tawny Port

With an average age of 22 years – Amazing value.

Complex and lifted, showing dried fruit, cake spice, toffee and assorted nut characters on the nose, leading to an opulently expressed palate filled with mature fruit flavours and attractive sweetness. It’s silky and creamy with a lingering tasty finish.

Celebrate a Remarkable Legacy This New Year

It is with great sadness that we acknowledge the passing of our proprietor and owner, Monty Knight, in November 2025. A passionate advocate for Northland wine, Monty believed deeply in the Okahu terroir and fondly called this place “Ninety Mile Paradise.”

As we mark 40 years of winemaking at Okahu, Monty’s vision and legacy continue. For the coming months, the business is being led by Monty’s eldest daughter, Kaz, and we thank you for your continued support.

Our bespoke Okahu red wines are beautifully cellared and available now. The recently released Ninety Mile White and Red celebrate our beginnings and four decades of crafting wines from Northland’s exceptional grapes.

    Cellar Door – Limited Hours

    • Open weekends only  12 noon – 5:00 pm
